Andy Jenkinson
Founder and CEO
Andy’s passion for life and success is matched by his ability to lead, develop and inspire all who work with him. He worked with a leading City head-hunter, soon becoming their top performer. In June 1995, Andy set up Charterhouse Resource Solutions which has grown to become a leading and unique company providing Human Capital Management to tier one companies within the technology and professional services arena. Andy’s abilities are also visible outside of the business arena as he is a very successful racing car driver having won many major trophies and championships during his time behind the wheel.
Bob Appleyard
Operations Director
Bob Appleyard joined Charterhouse Resource Solutions in September 2007 in the role of Operations Director. Bob has worked in the IT industry for 26 years and has been involved in both implementing and managing many IT projects across a range of industry sectors.
Having started his IT career as a Computer Operator and working through the industry to the role of Services Director, Bob has practical experience in all aspects of IT service Management and Service Delivery and was involved in the implementation and support of one of the largest IT projects in Europe. For the first eighteen years of his career, Bob sat firmly on the Customer side of the fence, before joining Sun Microsystems with the remit to bring a Service focus to their organisation.
After eight successful years with Sun, Bob chose to join Charterhouse as he believed the company had a unique offering that could make a real difference to the industry. Bob’s ethos and reputation is built upon being totally service focused and in ensuring that client success is at the foremost of his thinking. With his experience of operating as a customer, supplier and partner, he brings with him a level of understanding and empathy that is rarely found within our industry today.
Project & Programme Managers
Charterhouse have a proven track record in the provision of high calibre programme and project personnel. The skill range is extensive from Programme Directors through to highly motivated Technical Project Managers who can present our clients with solutions that inspire confidence.
Again we have developed a group of practicing programme professionals who liaise with our customers to ensure we place only the best people.
Our ethos dictates that we demonstrate capability at all times. Representatives from Charterhouse are fully versed in both recognised project delivery methodologies and can also back this up by having attained at least 3-5 years experience in delivery.
We recognise that in some instances a more junior role could be required. In this event we always ensure that our people have a close link with the Professional Development Managers community in Charterhouse who can provide mentoring and support to the individual as they grow into a role and gain that vital experience.
Fash Ghiaci FCA FCCA
Finance Director
Fash is the founder and Chairman of Ghiaci Goodhand Smith, Chartered Accountants, and was previously the Managing Director. He is also the current Managing Director of two property based companies as well as Versasuite UK Limited, an integrated healthcare software solutions provider. Fash and Andy are not just business partners but have been very good friends for many years.
Graham Ball FCA MSI - Chairman
Chairman
From 1989 to 2001, Graham was the Managing Director of Chase Fleming Private Wealth Management Limited (formerly Fleming Private Asset Management Limited). He previously held the post of Investment Manager with Sheppard & Chase Stockbrokers and was a Partner of J M Finn & Co. stockbrokers. He was a Non-Executive director of Kiln plc, the Lloyd’s specialist underwriters, for 9 years and is currently a director of the Zero Preference Growth Trust plc.
Michael Walshe
HR & Legal Director
Following his graduation with a law degree, Michael built a successful career in HR and general management in the manufacturing, electronic computer and engineering sectors. He joined a London Insurance broker in 1990 to head up their HR and Training function and was responsible for developing a wide range of innovative practices throughout his 15 year career in their City office. He switched to a part-time role to enable him to develop his own business in 2000 but remained involved in a number of key projects until his departure in June 2005.
In 2000 Michael founded Growingtalent Ltd, a consultancy business specialising in performance management and developing senior leadership capability. Michael has provided advisory, training and coaching services to a wide range of business sectors including law firms, media, engineering, education and construction, across Europe, the Middle East, Singapore, Australia, Canada, USA and France.
Service Managers
Charterhouse Resource Solutions offer a comprehensive capability in the deployment of Service Management personnel. Our Service Management Practice is lead by a team of experience Service Managers, all of which are ITIL Management Certificate holders and within the team the majority are qualified to undertake audit and consultancy to the new ISO20000 standard.
Our core resident Service Management team provide our business with the core skills necessary to engage with you, and your clients, to develop fully aligned service orientated business requirements against which to deploy suitable resources. In the main our team consists of ex-operational Service Managers who act as our first line account managers to our clients. They are ably suited to understanding both operational and business requirements and translating these into fully developed service models which include the roles, skills and team structure to meet the service requirement.
