Charterhouse bolsters virtualisation offering
Charterhouse, the IT services and resourcing group, has launched new virtualisation and associated services, which it believes will provide substantial benefits in reducing operational costs for business.
The services include a virtualisation assessment, lifecycle management and a packed solution called 'Virtual Infrastructure in a box'. Together with Charterhouse’s consolidation, storage, project and operational management services, the company is able to advise on overcoming many significant pain points in the data centre.
Bob Appleyard, Charterhouse operations director, said: “Virtualisation is not just about cost reduction. The huge reductions it can offer in power consumption mean that businesses consume less energy; an important consideration for firms with a green conscience”.
